Kate McKinnon gets involved in a sex scandal
Annapurna Pictures continues to assemble an all-star team to work on Fair and Weighted, about Fox News head Roger Ayles, who has been forced out of office due to multiple sexual harassment allegations. As it became known to the Deadline edition, the popular comedian Kate McKinnon will join John Lithgow, Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie and Allison Jenny in the film's cast.Like her co-stars, McKinnon boasts an impressive collection of individual awards. Of the greatest value to the actress, perhaps, are two Emmy awards for her work on the famous sketch show Saturday Night Live. The rest of Kate's awards and nominations also brought comedic roles. Either the creators of Fair and Weighted decided to add a touch of humor to the film about a very serious problem of modern American society, or McKinnon will have the opportunity to open up from a new side and show off all the facets of his dramatic talent. As with Margot Robbie, Kate's character won't have a real prototype. The comedian will appear in the form of a fictional Fox News employee, whose name is still kept secret.
