Indiana Jones is looking for successors
The confident performance of the blockbuster Ready Player One at the worldwide box office proved that even in his eighties, Steven Spielberg remains the king of adventure cinema. A year later, the director will start working on another fascinating film attraction - Indiana Jones 5. In an interview with the British edition of The Sun, Spielberg spoke about interesting ideas for the future of the famous franchise about the adventures of the fearless professor of archeology."I'm pretty sure this will be the last Indy movie to star Harrison Ford," said the director. "But the series will definitely continue to exist." Earlier it was rumored that in the fifth film, Indiana Jones might pass the hat and whip to his successor. Disney and Lucasfilm executives can also follow in the footsteps of the creators of Bond and replace the title role. Whichever option the bosses of Hollywood studios end up choosing, there will certainly be no end to those wishing to take part in the upcoming films of the film series.  Spielberg also noted that a representative of the fair sex may well be in the center of the plot of future paintings. “I see nothing wrong with sending a woman out in search of adventure, - said the director. -Indiana Jones may well be replaced by Indiana Joan.
