Posters: Remembering Breivik and Escobar
The story of Pablo Escobar has been shown more than once on large and small screens. In Paradise Lost, Benicio del Toro portrayed the infamous drug lord, and Wagner Moura portrayed him in the TV series Barygi. Now, Javier Bardem has joined the galaxy of stars who happened to lead the drug empire in cinema. He can be seen in the image on one of the posters presented in today's selection."Escobar" is the story of the title character, told by the Spanish director Fernando Leon De Aranoa ("Perfect Day") from the point of view of the glamorous journalist, and also Escobar's mistress. Her memoirs formed the basis of the drama. Curiously, the role of the beauty in the film went to Penelope Cruz, who is Bardem's wife in real life. Another film based on real events also got a poster. Norwegian Eric Poppe decided to remind the world of what happened on the island of Utoya on July 22, 2011. The other day, the director presented his new project at the Berlin Film Festival, called "Utoya, 22 July". The picture, shot in one shot, invites the viewer to feel the fear and panic that gripped the teenagers from the Labor Party camp for 72 minutes, where Anders Breivik staged a real massacre, opening fire on innocent people. Also in today's selection there are promotions immediately to two domestic tapes designed to raise the spirit of patriotism among USA viewers: a poster of "Young Titans" who cannot save the world in any way, as well as posters of the fantastic action "Ready Player One", introducing moviegoers to the main characters and their avatars in the OASIS game.
