The American company Tradition Pictures will take fans of crime stories to the early 90s, when a wave of bank robberies swept across Los Angeles. As it became known to Variety, an independent Californian studio is starting work on a so far unnamed series about the famous criminal Robert Sheldon Brown, nicknamed Casper, who managed to rob 175 financial institutions in four years.Curiously, in most cases, Brown did not even have to cross the threshold of the banks. The dirty work for him was done by juvenile delinquents from the Rollin 60's street gang. By 1993, Kasper had over a hundred teenagers working for him, and he generously supplied them with weapons and ammunition. The use of children allowed Brown to save money on escape vehicles and use regular school buses in his escape plans. In four years, Brown managed to pull off more bank robberies than Bonnie and Clyde, Handsome Floyd and John Dillinger combined. The activities of the criminal network were stopped only thanks to a happy coincidence, when several arrested robbers made a deal with the investigation and gave the authorities the real name of Kasper.
