Patrick Stewart wants to meet Charlie's Angels
The Sony Film Company continues to surprise fans of Charlie's Angels. Yesterday, actress Kristen Stewart made it clear that in the upcoming reboot of the franchise, Charles Townsend's small detective agency will turn into a large-scale spy organization with branches around the world. And today, The Hollywood Reporter managed to find out that the plot of the new part of the film series will involve not only more than three angels, but at least two Bosleys.The surname Bosley in previous television and film projects of the franchise was worn by agency employees who acted as intermediaries between the angels and the mysterious Charlie. In the original series and its TV remake, John Bosley was played by David Doyle and Ramon Rodriguez, respectively. The film debut of this character took place in 2000 in the film "Charlie's Angels". Bill Murray portrayed Bosley in McG's film. When the actor refused to participate in the sequel, the creators of the movie "Charlie's Angels 2: Only Go" had to introduce Bernie Mack's brother John into the story. This summer it became known that the surname Bosley in the new film version of "Charlie's Angels" will be worn by a woman: the role of the mentor of the titular heroines of the film went to Elizabeth Banks. Now it turns out there was room for another Bosley in the spy action script. Legendary Patrick Stewart is in talks with Sony management regarding this role.  Insiders are still at a loss to say whether the characters of Banks and Stewart will be related by blood ties, or whether Bosley will now become just a nickname for the heads of various branches of the Townsend agency.
