Producers Guild Awards Winners
The 29th Producers Guild of America Awards took place today at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The PGA is made up of over seven and a half thousand producers who celebrate the outstanding achievements of their colleagues in film and television every year.Following a good tradition, the ceremony includes the presentation of honorary awards for contributions to the development of the industry. This year, special Guild prizes were awarded to Universal Studio CEO Donna Langley, Oscar nominees Ava DuVerney (Thirteenth, Selma) and Charles Roven (Twelve Monkeys, The Dark Knight), and TV series creator Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story, Feud and American Crime Story. It is worth noting that over the past ten years, the Darryl F. Zanuck Award winners have won eight Oscars in the Best Picture of the Year category. Last year, the opinion of the members of the Guild of Producers and Film Academics differed: the former made a choice in favor of La La Landa, while the latter voted in favor of Moonlight. 2018 Producers Guild Awards: Prize to them.
