”New Mutants” risk going to Hulu
We have already reported that the development of "New Mutants" is in limbo. ScreenRant managed to find out that Fox has again postponed Josh Boone's project, and, possibly, will release it immediately on the Hulu streaming service. The release date was originally set for April 13 last year, but the studio has now moved it to August 2 due to lengthy reshoots, which are rumored to have affected more than half of the film.An insider from Twitter said that Fox and Boone are trying to negotiate the future of the project. They are currently planning to push the film back until November, and the studio is looking at Hulu as a release site. Initially, it was assumed that the reshooting of "Mutants" will begin in September last year, but these plans have failed. Probably the biggest challenge was gathering the cast. Anya Taylor-Joy was reported to be particularly upset about how much time she would have to invest again in the project. Apparently, the fate of the "New Mutants" will finally be decided after the acquisition of Fox by the House of Mice. Disney hopes to get most of the film company's franchises.
