Escape Alcatraz
After filming a number of successful thrillers, director James Foley migrated to television, and only after a ten-year hiatus, he returned to big cinema thanks to the Fifty Shades of Gray franchise. And although the second and third parts of the series did not win the favor of critics and viewers, the producers of "300 Spartans" and "John Wick" are ready to entrust Foley with shooting a film called "Alcatraz".The film, the script for which was written by Ian Jeffers ("Death Sentence", "Skirmish"), tells about a bank robber who decided on a risky act - escape from Alcatraz prison. This story is based on real events from the life of Frank Morris. In June 1962, he and brothers John and Clarence Anglin escaped from a place considered impossible to escape. The conspirators were never found and are still on the list of the most wanted criminals of the US Marshals Service. James Foley began his career with clips of Madonna, and later such films as Glengarry Glen Ross (Americans), Camera, The Corruptor and Fear appeared in his filmography. Fowley also managed to shoot a number of episodes for the series Hannibal, Wayward Pines and Billions.  The Alcatraz project is produced by Gianni Nunnari and Basil Ivanik.
