Disney officially announced Loki TV series

Image Apparently, Loki did not leave us forever. Last month, we reported that Marvel plans to shoot big projects for Disney's new streaming service, including a solo mini-series about Loki. According to Collider, today the House of Mouse has officially confirmed that the show about Thor's stepbrother with Tom Hiddleston in the title role will indeed be released on the streaming service called Disney +.

As a reminder, miniseries are being developed as part of the expansion of the existing Marvel Cinematic Universe. Each of the projects will receive six to eight episodes, since high-paid actors have tight filming schedules, and the studio wants to provide fans with the opportunity to watch stories of their favorite characters in TV format. In addition, Disney + projects have a key difference from previous telecomics like Daredevil - they will be produced by Kevin Feige, while the show on Netflix is controlled by Jeff Lobe and Marvel TV.

Rumor has it that a Scarlet Witch series starring Elizabeth Olsen and a show about the characters of Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier) and Anthony Mackie (Falcon) are also in development. In this way, Disney aims to make as much content as possible for the launch of its upcoming streaming service next year. A Star Wars game show called The Mandalorian has already gone into production, and today the studio announced the filming of the spin-off series Rogue One starring Diego Luna.
