Earth to aliens
Thanks to Amazon, Expansion fans can sleep well as the online service saved the drama from closing. The streaming giant liked space so much that he took up the development of another project in the genre of science fiction, this time with alien civilizations. Amazon and Skybound Entertainment will bring Zack Kaplan's comic "Port of the Earth", published by Image Comics in 2017, to the small screens.The cycle of graphic novels outlines the harsh reality in which the so-called Syndicate exists - an association of representatives of alien civilizations. One day this union turns to earthlings with a business proposal: the Earth turns into a space port for the Syndicate clients in exchange for the latest advances in technology. However, not all aliens are ready to abide by the rules, and after the alien rebels arrange pogroms in different cities, the terms of the deal change. The comic covers the themes of exploitation, occupation, espionage, technology and power. Original author Zach Kaplan will executive produce the project alongside Mark Silvestri (Wanted) and Matt Hawkins (The Mystical Power of the Battle Rangers). This is Kaplan's third comic to capture the attention of producers over the past couple of years: Skybound plans to send viewers to a world where the sun is emitting deadly rays, and Universal Television is to explore the lost city located near New York.
