Danila Kozlovsky fell in love with the director's chair
One of the most popular USA actors and directors Danila Kozlovsky, speaking in New York during the USA Cinema Week, announced that he was going to shoot a new film that would tell about some historical events. This was reported by the TASS news agency. And although the casting is already underway, the details, as well as the name of the project, are kept secret.“This is a large and complex picture, quite ambitious in its artistic and creative goals. Much harder than Coach, much more in terms of budget, team and theme scale, the actor said. -The film is based on real events. This story is emotionally very close to me, I want to tell it". When asked if he wants to try something new in terms of genre or filming process, Kozlovsky said that such a task is not yet worth it and he just wants to touch on a topic that touches him and worries, since the main thing is interesting and living history, not innovation. The young director also added: “There are understandable things that it must be a lively emotional script that touches you, there must be the right team that embodies all artistic and production tasks, an art group led by the director and artists, as well as a strong team producers".  In April, Kozlovsky's film Coach was released - the actor's directorial debut, which grossed over 800 million rubles at the box office at a cost of 380 million.
