Kozlovsky finished shooting a film about the Chernobyl disaster

Image At the end of last year, the media spread the news that Danila Kozlovsky was not comforted by the success of his directorial debut, which grossed almost a billion rubles at the box office, and is already working on a second film. Then the information about the project was kept secret - the actor only mentioned that the picture would describe historical events that are emotionally very close to him. Finally, the newly-made director finished shooting the film, which, as it became known, will tell about the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

In the center of the plot of the painting "When the storks were falling" will be a group of volunteer liquidators under the leadership of the station shift manager Boris Baranov. The main character will be the frivolous fireman Alexei, whose role is traditionally played by Danila Kozlovsky himself. The actor will be accompanied by Ravshana Kurkova, Oksana Akinshina, Nikolai Kozak, Philip Avdeev, and Alexander Rodnyansky and Sergey Melkumov will take over the production functions.

Kozlovsky notes that one of the reasons to make a film on this topic was the desire to tell a wide audience about the tragedy. It remains to be seen if the director will be able to tell something new about the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The premiere of the picture is scheduled for October 8, 2020.
