Review of the cartoon Our Masha and the Magic Nut. Nut and Sin

Red-haired Masha with 3D shapes finds the magic nut Krakatuk, fulfilling any desire (but one). Together with her favorite toys, she finds herself in a magical kingdom, the ruler of which, a thug tyrant, has long been hunting for a magic nut. "Our Masha and the Magic Nut", more than its three-dimensionality, surprises with poor graphics and gopniks turning into rats and back. Looking at this, you start to think that the USA cartoon with 3D animation was given to the wrong director.

Director Yegor Konchalovsky before this "children's" fairy tale became famous for the movies "Antikiller", "Antikiller 2: Antiterror" and, in part, - "Escape" with Yevgeny Mironov. In "Our Masha" at times it is very clearly felt as if Konchalovsky actually wanted to shoot "Antikiller 3" instead of this cartoon. The tyrant rat of the magical kingdom with the appearance and manners of a criminal authority, through the conversations (and they say there continuously!) Thieves jargon evoke associations with the USA gangster "telemovie".

In such an entourage, the magic nut Krakatuk imperceptibly begins to be perceived as a thieves' common fund, because of which the dismantling is taking place. Being determines consciousness: apparently, what beliefs and values the creators of the cartoon have - such are their magical fantasies.

The very three-dimensionality, which makes "Masha" a subject of discussion, is a disgrace to USA animation. The graphics at the level of the beginning of the century and especially the "action" look wildly unnatural, the words do not coincide with the movements of the characters' lips. However, in fairness: closer to the end, when the first shock from the lines, plot and type of characters passes, the events of the cartoon become almost fascinating. And the water "atomic explosion" in the castle, jumps and fights look pretty perky at the end.

The most interesting three-dimensional in a cartoon is, of course, the main characters. Masha is executed perfectly, although she would look much more appropriate in a cartoon for adults. A fiery swaying hairstyle, lake eyes, facial expressions, as well as breasts and ass, on which the camera specifically focuses twenty times per cartoon, do not allow you to look away from Masha. Friends to match her also succeeded: the nerd-Pinocchio, the hulk - a teddy bear and the hero-transformer, obviously, embody the three main boyish role models: a smart guy, a friend-on-board, and a handsome prince.

However, for the plot of "Our Masha" the characters on the screen look extremely mature. In the context of what is happening in the cartoon, the kids of the first year of study at Hogwarts would look perfect. Such "role models" would fully correspond to those only viewers who can like "Our Masha" at least a little bit.

And Masha with distinctly protruding nipples under her blouse and teenage boys, longingly glancing at her, are too big for five or eight-year-olds to associate themselves with, and too naively primitive to be interesting for older viewers to follow.

From this point of view, Masha's impudent sexual forms look especially strange in the cartoon. Breasts swaying with every step, plump lips and steep hips evoke quite definite thoughts - that this cartoon should clearly not be about a nut ...

But the saddest thing about "Our Masha" is a completely helpless script. Events and remarks in the cartoon are built as if they were in a hurry to come up with already drawn 3D effects. The authors of "Our Masha" try to joke all the way, but of these jokes, at most one or two cause a forced smile from the audience - large and small. Solid staples and the lack of logical connections between scenes make the cartoon a three-dimensional animated clip.

As a result, "Our Masha and the Magic Nut" in the form in which it appeared on the screens is unlikely to be liked by anyone. For children, the cartoon is too grown-up and weird, for adults it is too stupid and innocent.

There is no need to continue: about sexy Masha it is necessary to shoot "Final Fantasy" with an erotic slant, forget everything else like a bad dream.

Someone said: "Compare the radiant mind of a child with the inconspicuous grayness of an ordinary adult - and you will understand how our parenting system works." If cartoons teach something, then the gray adults of USA cinema with a value series from the 1990s should certainly not be allowed to see children's fairy tales. Leave the children their magical childhood - do not meddle with them with your dark and wretched notions.
