The Return of Puss in Boots
At the end of last year, we announced that NBCUniversal Corporation intends to reboot the Shrek animation franchise. Today it became known that the owners of the rights to the cartoon brand will return to the screens not only the green ogre, but also another popular character of their fairytale cinematic universe. NBCUniversal has finally greenlit the highly anticipated sequel to Puss in Boots.The mustachioed hero with the voice of Antonio Banderas made his screen debut in the second part of "Shrek". The audience provided such a warm welcome to the colorful character that the DreamWorks Animation studio thought about creating his solo album. Puss in Boots was released in 2011. Chris Miller's film earned high praises in the press, earned almost $ 555 million and received an Oscar nomination. The director's chair for Puss in Boots 2 will be taken over by newly-baked Academy Award winner Bob Persichetti, who won an Academy Award for his work on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The talented animator and management at DreamWorks has a long history of collaboration. At one time, Bob Persichetti was engaged in storyboarding "Shrek 2", after which he went on promotion and became the head of the author's group of the first "Puss in Boots".
