Be in time for Christmas
A little over six years ago, the drama "The Servant" opened new career horizons for Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer, and after a long time the actresses are ready to work together again, this time on a Christmas comedy.According to the portal Variety, studio Universal in the competition, bypassing 20th Century Fox and Paramount, acquired the rights to the script application, written by Chastain herself and producer Kelly Carmichael ("7 Days and Nights with Marilyn"). Further work on the text is entrusted to Pete Chiarelli ("Illusion of Deception 2"). The main characters in the film will be two women trying to get home for Christmas. It is reported that the project will remind viewers of the 1987 film "Airplane, Train, Car", in which Steve Martin's character wanted to be in time for Thanksgiving in Chicago, but an accidental meeting with an eccentric man performed by John Candy disrupted all his plans.  Not too long ago, both Chastain and Spencer received Golden Globe nominations for The Big Game and The Shape of Water from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, respectively.
