Atari founder's biopic will be removed for bitcoins

Image Vision Tree will make movie fans feel like real Hollywood producers. As it became known to the Variety edition, the American media corporation begins work on a tape about the life of businessman Nolan Bushnell. Part of the funds for its creation will be obtained through the open sale of a new cryptocurrency, which will be named in honor of the protagonist of the story.

Bushnell made his way from an arcade machine repairman to the owner of the legendary Atari company. The gaming company was founded in 1972 and quickly became one of the leaders in the American entertainment industry.

In 1983, a global crisis in the gaming industry broke out. Atari consoles began to lose popularity sharply, which is why the company's stock price fell more than three times. A year later, Nolan's corporation was closed, and its main assets were sold to competitors.

Despite the sad fate of Atari, Nolan Bushnell is rightfully considered one of the founding fathers of the modern gaming industry. Vision Tree's biopic will be supported by Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way company.

Representatives of the Hollywood studio have not yet announced whether Bushnell's bitcoin buyers will get the chance to visit the film set and meet Leo. At the moment, it is only known that sponsors will help to select actors for the main roles and will even receive a modest percentage of the final collection of the film.

Vision Tree bosses hope that with the sale of cryptocurrency, they can add at least $ 40 million to the production budget of the biographical drama.
