This year, the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has made a multi-million army of film fans pretty nervous. It's already December, the films are in full swing fighting for getting into the final list of candidates for the Oscar - 2019, and academics for some reason were in no hurry to announce the name of the host of the February ceremony for the main film awards in the world.It is no secret that Oscar's television ratings have been steadily declining in recent years. In the past five years alone, the show's audience in the United States has shrunk from 43.7 million to 26.5 million viewers. This, of course, is part of the fault of the presenters, who sometimes joke extremely unsuccessfully and shamelessly steal airtime from the main triumphants of ceremonies. It's no wonder that every year more and more famous actors and showmen stop seeing the phrase "Oscar host" as a nice addition to the resume and add the phone numbers of the Academy to the black lists.  Fortunately for the film academics, there is still a man in Hollywood who is ready to risk his reputation and try to breathe new life into the show. As it became known to the Deadline edition, the popular American actor and comedian Kevin Hart will host the Oscars - 2019. “I've always said that the opportunity to host an Oscar can fall out only once in a lifetime, and I will never give it up, - wrote the comedian on Instagram. -I'm glad to announce that I finally got my chance. Hart has all the prerequisites to help the Oscar get out of the rating pit. During his comedy tours, Kevin collects entire stadiums, and therefore he is unlikely to fall into a stupor when entering the Dolby cinema stage, as was the case with previous presenters. Moreover, the actor already has experience in holding such events. In 2016, he and his good friend Dwayne Johnson entertained the guests of the MTV Movie Awards quite successfully.
