DreamWorks Animation has decided to renew its collaboration with screenwriter Ethan Cohen, who wrote for her the plot of the second part of the animated franchise Madagascar. As it became known to The Hollywood Reporter, the management of the animation studio entrusted the Hollywood author with the work on the script for the cartoon based on the popular book series The Bad Guys by Aaron Blaby.In the center of the plot of children's books by the Australian writer are four insidious gangsters - Mr. Wolf, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Snake and Mr. Shark. Tired of hearing the screams of passers-by every time they appear on the street, the villains decide to re-educate themselves. Soon, the main characters of the story realize that earning the reputation of good guys will not be as easy as they thought ... The first book in the Bad Boys series went on sale at the end of 2016 and quickly gained immense popularity among young readers. To date, six works have already been published, which have sold over two million copies.  The Bad Boys will be produced by Patrick Hughes (Hitman's Bodyguard) and Damon Ross (The Baby Boss).
