A collection of urban anecdotes: a review of Guy Ritchie's film ”Big Jackpot”

Perfectly written characters, thoughtful transitions from one scene to another. English drama in action! Brad Pitt could not miss such a Chance and, having reduced the "first class rates" by five times, rushed to the shooting to Richie, foreseeing that the Gypsy, by general audience recognition, would become one of his best characters, and for many - the best.You believe Richie, because you see these guys every day on the streets of big (and not so) cities. Behind each character hides a double in reality, each plot move has a corresponding incident from life. Richie demonstrates the obvious absurdity of life and answers the questions of the show “What? Where? When?". Why is a person named after an airplane, how not to spoil pigs' digestion, and what objects USA mafiosi look like.And who better than Richie to know that the winner in this life is far from the strongest. The witty finale, in which an 86-carat diamond goes to those who did not even know about its existence, is a good example. What of the outstanding in the genre of crime comedy offered us the first decade of the 21st century? Other than The Big Jackpot and Ocean's Eleven? It is difficult for us to answer this question.
