Creator of Gattaki to movie Stephenie Meyer's novel
Director Andrew Nikkol, who directed movies such as Gattaca and `` The Gun Baron '', appointed in charge of the movie adaptation of `` Adult '' a novel by Stephenie Meyer called The Boss. It is reported by the Variety edition. Nikkol previously worked on the script for this project. The novel takes place in the future, when the Earth is colonized by alien beings who call themselves Souls. Aliens invade the bodies of people and subjugate them to their will. One of the creatures, calling itself Wanderer, enters the body of the main character Melanie Strider in order to search for a small group of people who did not obey the aliens. Earlier it was reported that the main role is likely to be played by actress Saoirse Ronan. who, for the sake of participating in this picture, refused to appear in The Hobbit.
