Film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's adult novel finds director
Screen adaptation of the first `` adult '' novel by the creator of Twilight Stephenie Meyer found a director. According to the Variety edition, the staging of the picture based on the work `` The Boss '' will be handled by Suzanne White, who previously directed My Horrible Nanny II. The book was adapted for the screen by screenwriter Andrew Niccol, who previously worked on such famous movies as The Truman Show; and Terminal. The novel takes place in the future, when the Earth is colonized by alien beings who call themselves Souls. Aliens invade the bodies of people and subjugate them to their will. One of the creatures enters the body of the main character named Melanie Strider in order to search for a small group of people who did not obey the aliens.
