Robert Zemeckis refused to revive Superman (Topic)

Robert Zemeckis did receive an offer to direct the Superman remake, but he turned it down without hesitation. The director himself spoke about this in an interview with MTV. “I gave my answer faster than a bullet goes out of the barrel,” Zemeckis said. The director did not explain the reason for his refusal.

As you know, after this Warner Bros. proposed the project to Zach Snyder, and he immediately agreed. Recall that the studio is interested in the early launch of the movie into production, since under the terms of the agreement with the heirs of the creators of Superman, it will lose the rights to the hero if the shooting does not start in 2011.
