Oscar-nominated songs will no longer be sung by singers at the awards ceremony. This decision was made by the leadership of the American Film Academy. Instead of live sound, the participants and guests of the show will see cuts from movies accompanied by musical compositions applying for the award. The official press release does not specify the reasons for the changes in the regulations, but most likely they were approved due to the desire to shorten the duration of the ceremony.

Recall that at the Oscars 2010; The following songs will qualify:

1. Take It All (" Nine ")

2. Loin de Paname (" Paris! Paris! ")

3. Down in New Orleans (" The Princess and the Frog ")

4. Almost There (" The Princess and the Frog ")

5. The Weary Kind (" Crazy Heart ")

Oscar winners will be announced on March 7, 2010.
