Creator Alpha Doga will direct a movie about John Gotti
Director Nick Cassavetes, who previously directed the movie Alpha Dog, is movieing the biography of one of the heads of the New York mafia, John Gotti and his son John Gotti Jr. This is reported by the Variety edition. Recall that John Gotti was a member of the Gambino crime family - the most influential criminal group in New York in the middle and late 20th century. In his own world, Gotti was known as the Dapper Don for his love of expensive suits and communication with the press. In 1992, as a result of a successful FBI operation, he was arrested and sentenced to life in prison without parole. Died in prison in 2002 from cancer.
