Tom Hanks will return to the moon
Tom Hanks and Robert Zemeckis plan to continue their very successful collaboration in the past. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zemeckis has been asked to direct a movie based on the popular Major Matt Mason toy series, with Hanks to play the lead role. Toys from the mid-60s by Mattel, illustrated the adventures of Major Mason and his team on the Moon and an orbital station orbiting Earth's satellite. The line was extremely popular during the flights of American astronauts to the moon. Production ceased in the 1970s. The project is estimated at $ 100 million and will be shot in 3D.
