Bondarchuk will start shooting Stalingrad in autumn 2011
Fyodor Bondarchuk plans to start movieing the movie `` Stalingrad '' in September 2011. This was reported in a press release from Art Pictures. It is alleged that the moviemakers have already begun designing the scenery and making the latest changes to the script for the project, which is becoming `` more and more international. '' Well-known foreign actors with whom negotiations are underway may take part in the movie. Who exactly is in question has not yet been specified, but we would venture to suggest that the candidates could be Christoph Waltz, with whom Bondarchuk himself met during the actor's visit to Moscow, as well as Til Schweiger, negotiations with whom were conducted back in the spring. The director emphasizes that his picture will be shot in a regular format, and not in 3D. Remarkably that earlier, during the Cannes Film Festival, the producer of the project, Dmitry Rudovsky, claimed that the movie would be stereoscopic.
