Russell Crowe will sing in Tom Hooper's Les Miserables
Russell Crowe will accompany his compatriot Hugh Jackman in a musical based on Victor Hugo's novel Les Miserables. According to the Deadline resource, Crowe will play the police inspector Javert, who considers it his life to capture the main character Jean Valjean (Jackman). The director of the picture is the triumphant of the 2011 Oscar ceremony; Tom Hooper. Filming will begin shortly with an eye on the premiere in December 2012.
