Stargate will be auctioned
A full-size model of Stargate, as well as about 50 other artifacts related to the popular fantasy series Stargate SG-1, will be auctioned. Scifi Wire reports that the auction will be held at the Experience Music Project | Science Fiction in Seattle on September 25 and 26, 2010. For the layout of the portal, which was also used in the second season of Stargate Universe, the organizers of the auction intend to help out from 80 to 100 thousand dollars.
