Universal Pictures refused to movie the Ridges of Madness
Universal Pictures will not fund Guillermo Del Toro's Ridges of Madness, based on Lovecraft's novel of the same name. This is reported by the resource Deadline. Thus, work on this project has been postponed indefinitely. The reasons for this decision by the company's management have not been specified. Instead of Ridges of Madness Mexican director will direct the science fiction movie "Pacific Rim" for the Legendary Pictures studio. According to the plot of the picture, due to the threat of an invasion of alien invaders, mankind is forced to forget about its internal contradictions and create a united armed forces to repel the imminent attack.
