Universal will put James Bond in full-scale war
Universal has acquired all rights to Jason Bourne from the heirs of the writer Robert Ludlam for exclusive use. According to Variety, earlier the movie studio planned to limit itself to movieing only three episodes about the adventures of a CIA agent who lost his memory, now the franchise will be is seriously expanded and should compete with the James Bond series.
