Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire left Spider-Man 4
Sony Pictures officially canceled the shooting of the fourth part of Spider-Man and fired director Sam Raimi and all of the leading actors, including Tobey Maguire. This was reported in a press release from the company. However, the development of the franchise will continue. The next movie is said to see viewers no earlier than 2012, and it will kick off a new trilogy that will take a different look at the origins of Spider-Man. Previously, Spider-Man 4 was supposed to be; will be released in May 2011, however, as a result of creative differences between Sam Raimi and Sony's management, production of the movie was never launched.
