Universal Confirms Jaws Blu-ray Premiere Date
Universal Studios Home Entertainment Confirmed Release Date for Horror Classic Jaws on Blu-ray. According to an official press release, it will premiere on August 14, 2012 in celebration of Universal Studios' Centenary. Every frame of the original 1975 movie is scanned in high resolution and went through a complete restoration process. The soundtrack experts have re-recorded the familiar soundtrack in the modern DTS-HD Master 7.1 format. The JAWS Blu-ray Combo Pack Collector's Edition will contain a digital copy of the painting and an UltraViolet version.
