Nicolas Cage will likely star in the fantasy movie The Green Hornet. According to Variety, the actor is in talks with Columbia Pictures, which offered him the role of a gangster, who is the main opponent of the masked hero. The Hornet himself will be played by Seth Rogen, his girlfriend and part-time reporter for the local newspaper - Cameron Diaz.

Filming should begin in late summer 2009. The movie is directed by Michel Gondry. " Green Hornet " will be released on July 9, 2010.
