Ron Howard retired from movieing Lost Symbol (Topic)

Director Ron Howard has stepped down as director of the movie based on Dan Brown's novel The Lost Symbol. This is reported by the resource Deadline. Most likely, Howard will retain his post as producer of the project. The search for a new director has already begun.

Recall that Howard previously movieed two of Brown's other books, The Da Vinci Code. and Angels and Demons. The first earned $ 758 million at the worldwide box office, and the second $ 458 million. Both movies starred Tom Hanks.

Supposedly based on The Lost Symbol. due out in 2012.
