Rick Ross, CEO of Walt Disney Studios, has ordered a budget cut for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Waves. According to the LA Times, in this regard, the producer of the project, Jerry Bruckheimer, was forced to reduce the shooting schedule of the movie to 95 days. For comparison, the third part of the movie was movieed for 142 days.

In addition, the number of location movieing will be reduced. So, it was assumed that the fourth `` Pirates '' will be movieed in Hawaii, the Caribbean and London, but now the Caribbean has been struck off the list.

Abbreviations also apply to the script. Several episodes were deleted from it, the production of which was supposed to create expensive special effects.

Filming will begin in summer 2010, with a premiere scheduled for May 2011.
