Captain Hector Barbossa will appear in the fourth Pirates
What used to be just a rumor has gained official confirmation. Variety, citing a press release from Walt Disney Studios, reports that Geoffrey Rush will indeed take part in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Captain Hector Barbossa is said to be one of the " the few characters from the original trilogy to appear in Episode 4. ” Filming is due to begin in June 2010 in Hawaii. In addition to Rush and Johnny Depp, the movie will feature Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane. The fourth Pirates of the Caribbean will be movieed in stereoscopic format.
