Fringe will lose one of its producers
Executive Producer, Fringe Jeff Pinkner decided to leave the final season of the project. The news is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Jeff and Joel Wyman have been on the show since the second season. With Pinkner gone, Wyman will take over all executive producer responsibilities. “For four years, Wyman and Pinkner have worked together to create a project that has attracted millions of viewers,” says JJ Abrams, co-creator of The Edge. “We are grateful to Jeff for his invaluable contribution and hope that our paths will cross again. Perhaps we will work on something new. However, Wyman's importance to the project cannot be overstated and we are delighted to have him stay with us. We can't wait for the moment to show what they have reserved for our viewers in the final season. ” Wineman also announced that he will remain with the project until the very end.
