Kodak Renounced Oscars
As part of the bankruptcy proceedings, Eastman Kodak announced its intention to terminate the contract with the Hollywood Film Center, which has won Academy Awards since 2002. If the claim is upheld by the bankruptcy court, the movie center will no longer be eligible to use the Kodak branding. The cost of this 'branding' is estimated at four million dollars a year.
