Ridley Scott retired from Alien prequel
Ridley Scott gave up the idea of making a prequel to his famous movie Alien. Instead, according to an official press release from 20th Century Fox, the director will direct a science fiction movie called Prometheus. Alien. was indeed the starting point of our project, but the creative process allowed us to create a different, deep mythology and universe in which the events of the original picture took place earlier. Perhaps real fans will find a trace of Alien DNA in the new movie, but this movie will be unique, ambitious and somewhat provocative. I am glad that I can return to the genre that is so close to me, '' commented Ridley Scott. The main role in the movie will be played by Swedish actress Noomi Rapace. which will turn into a scientist named Elizabeth Shaw. The remaining actors will be announced later.
