Back in January 2007, the producer of the American version of The Ring, Roy Lee, claimed that the third part would definitely take place if the original plot was invented. It looks like the time for the birth of the third "Ring" has come. According to the Bloody-Disgusting resource, the first negotiations on the movieing of the sequel have already been held. This happened not at all because the producers had a good script, but because on the example of the latest movies of this genre they realized the potential of the 3D format, when banal plots are easily overshadowed by visualization. Most likely, it will not be discussed about the sequel to the picture, but about the prequel. This is exactly what the creators of the Japanese version did in their time.
