Amazon added Steven Soderbergh's project to its list of pilots
Amazon adds pilot for 'Red Oaks' comedy directed by David Gordon Green and produced by Steven Soderbergh to the list of pilots who will debut later this year on Amazon Instant Video. After watching, customers will choose which show is worthy of turning into a serial, which will then be available on Prime Instant Video. The show takes place in 1985 and focuses on David Myers (Craig Roberts), a college student experiencing about a heart attack that just happened to his father and doubting his plans for the fall. During his summer vacation, David takes a job as an assistant to a professional tennis player at the prestigious Red Oaks Country Club in the suburbs of New Jersey. The comedy pilot, written by Gregory Jacobs, also stars Jennifer Gray, Paul Riser, Richard Kind, The Topic of Article: Amazon added Steven Soderbergh's project to its list of pilots. |
