20th Century Fox failed to defend Daredevil
Marvel has rejected a request from 20th Century Fox for an adjournment for movieing a new version of Daredevil. This is reported by the Variety edition. Thus, all rights to the popular comic book character will again return to Marvel, and therefore, the movie adaptation, which was supposed to be directed by director Joe Carnahan, can be safely considered invalid. Recall that 20th Century Fox tried to negotiate with Marvel, offering to cede the latter rights to minor characters in the Fantastic Four comic book series. According to an earlier agreement, the studio was supposed to start movieing " Daredevils " until October 20, 2012, but due to a number of circumstances did not make it on time.
