Christian Bale again turned down the role of Steve Jobs in the biopic, which is going to be movieed by British director Danny Boyle. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Recall that Bale's readiness to play the founder of Apple became known at the beginning of 2014, when David Fincher was planning to take up the project. But after the director did not agree with the producers on the size of his fee and dropped out of the project, Bale followed him. For some time, Leonardo DiCaprio was listed as the performer of the title role, but he eventually refused this offer. After his departure, Bale agreed to play the role of Steve Jobs.

It is not known what caused his current decision. Sources close to the actor claim that he accepted him after "long deliberation." The plot of the movie will be based on a biography written by Walter Isaacson, with Steve Wozniak as consultant for the project. The latter should be played by Seth Rogen.

This is not the first attempt to movie the biography of Steve Jobs. In 2013, the movie "Jobs: Empire of Seduction," starring Ashton Kutcher, was released. The movie was crushed by critics and failed at the box office.
