Godzilla director to movie Star Wars spin-off
Gareth Edwards, who presented to the audience his first large-scale Hollywood movie project, Godzilla, has been appointed director of the Star Wars spin-off. This was announced in the official press release of the studio Lucasmovie. The movie will be released on December 16, 2016 and is based on a script by Gary Witt. The content of the spin-off is still unknown. Earlier, representatives of Lucasmovie argued that, most likely, individual projects from this series will be dedicated to the minor characters of the saga or tell the backstories of one of the main characters. Recall that the premiere of the next numbered episode will take place in December 2015. Studio Legendary Pictures was quick to declare that Edwards did not relinquish his duties as the director of the sequel to "Godzilla".
