Godzilla moviemaker Gareth Edwards has no further collaboration with Legendary and Warner Bros. Studios. and will not work on a second episode. The publication Deadline reports this with reference to its sources. The reason for Edwards' refusal to shoot "Godzilla 2" is not specified, it is only stated that the parties "parted on friendly terms," and the studio management hopes that in the future the director will take part in some of their projects.
