Former Doctor Who will play Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Matt Smith, formerly of Doctor Who in the hit British TV series, will star in the movie adaptation of Seth Graham-Smith's Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, a loose interpretation of Jane Austen's acclaimed novel. It is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. It is alleged that the actor got the role of Mr. Collins. In this version, the main character Elizabeth Bennett has to think not about marriage, but about how, together with Mr. Darcy, to defeat the zombies that rebelled in rural England in the 18th century. Lily James will play the main role. The movie also stars Sam Riley and Jack Houston. Note that attempts to movie this work were made back in 2009. Then Natalie Portman was listed as the leading actress, and then she was replaced by Emma Stone. But both actresses eventually dropped out of the project.
