Lily Collins to play Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (Topic)

Lily Collins will star in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, based on the novel by Seth Graham-Smith, which is a loose interpretation of the acclaimed novel by Jane Austen. This is reported by the Variety edition.

In this version, Elizabeth Bennett will not think about marriage, but about how, together with Mr. Darcy, to defeat the zombies that rebelled in rural England in the 18th century.

Note that attempts to movie this work were made back in 2009. Then the leading role was listed by Natalie Portman, and then she was replaced by Emma Stone. But both actresses eventually dropped out.

Burr Steers was appointed director of the movie.
