In a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, an armed man was arrested while trying to get to the screening of The Dark Knight 2: The Legend Rises.

According to TMZ, the manager of one of the cinemas was suspicious of a viewer, who came to the evening session with a big bag.

He asked for help from a police officer who was not on duty. The latter stopped the man and inspected his luggage.

A Glock 9mm automatic pistol, cartridges for it and three large knives were found in the bag. The policeman immediately called his colleagues.

Arriving law enforcement officers arrested the detainee. As it turned out later, it turned out to be a 37-year-old local resident, Scott Smith. He did not have a firearms permit.

The police raided Smith's house, an investigation has begun.

Recall that on July 20, 2012, in Aurora, Colorado, 24-year-old James Holmes shot the audience of the movie The Dark Knight 2. 12 people died, more than 50 were injured. After this tragedy, security measures were tightened in all cinemas in the country.
