Star Wars Rebels Movie Premiere Date Announced
The Walt Disney Company has issued a letter to its shareholders stating that the premiere of Star Wars Rebels will take place this summer on Disney Channel. The channel will also air Star Wars Rebels shorts, most likely designed to introduce viewers to the Star Wars Rebels characters. The series itself will be released on the Disney XD channel, as expected, in the fall of 2014. Recall that the action in the series Star Wars Rebels takes place in between Episode III and Episode IV. The events of this time span of almost two decades have never been shown on the screen before. This time, when the Empire takes over the galaxy and hunts down the last Jedi Knights.
