Disney Reveals the Birth of the First Order
At the beginning of last month, viewers said goodbye to the heroes of the popular animated series Star Wars Rebels. As the publication Deadline managed to find out, in a few months the fascinating story about the dizzying adventures of the crew of the Ghost ship will be replaced by a new animated show based on the legendary space saga of George Lucas.Disney and Lucasfilm have announced the launch of Star Wars Resistance, which will take place between Episodes 6 and 7. The protagonist of the animation project will be the young pilot Kazuda Ksiono, who will join the resistance movement and will be tasked with keeping an eye on the growing First Order. Judging by preliminary information, "Resistance" will give viewers a meeting not only with completely new heroes, but also with such famous characters of the Star Wars universe as BB-8, Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma.  The project will be chaired by Dave Filoni, who previously contributed to the Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels animated series. According to veteran Lucasfilm Animation, Star Wars Resistance will pay homage to the anime genre and films about military pilots. The series will premiere on Disney Channel this fall.
